Email - Speedy, simple and secure

With the wide availability of e-mail, most MedGarde clients prefer to use our secure MedEmail system to receive their files. To remain HIPAA compliant, MedGarde does not deliver transcribed reports as e-mail attachments. Instead e-mail alerts only contain a link. Once the client clicks the link, they are directed back to our server where they enter their password. Subsequently, an encrypted connection is established between the client’s computer and MedGarde’s server. Our technology is compatible with Microsoft Outlook and GroupWise e-mail systems as well as Internet Explorer, Netscape and Firefox web browsers.

Remote Printing - Your virtual office assistant

If you don’t have the time or resources to print e-mailed documents yourself, then our MedPrint solution is the technology you’ve dreamed of. MedPrint allows you to seamlessly receive your documents printed directly at your location over a secure high-speed Internet connection. For less expense than courier/mail delivery, it’s possible to streamline the receipt of your documents. Want letters to print at 9 AM at the receptionist’s desk and operative notes at 1 PM at the nurse’s station? No problem. MedPrint is completely customizable allowing us to print to nearly any printer on your network. What about printer malfunctions you ask? Our technology allows us to designate a backup printer so that your prints never miss a step.

Fax

MedGarde’s MedFax solution helps clients to receive documents via fax. Want your faxes delivered daily at 3 PM or every hour on the hour? No problem. MedFax will even intelligently redial numbers until transmission is confirmed. Our fax service can even be used in tandem with our other document delivery services. Want a fax to go to your secretary and also receive an e-mail in your in-box. MedFax makes it possible. What’s more, if a fax can’t be delivered, a notification is sent so that the fax number can be re-verified. Our fax system also allows you to communicate with your peers by faxing reports from our system directly to your colleagues.

File Transfer Protocol (FTP)

Do you have an FTP site that your organization prefers to use? MedGarde can upload completed reports directly to your FTP server.

Courier/Mail

Want to make use of our services but don’t want to involve any technology? MedGarde can deliver your printed reports directly to your location, complete with copies and envelopes if you wish. MedGarde ships via FedEx and USPS.
