Flexibility: |
Transcriptionists are not required to maintain any specific work schedule. You read that correctly. MedGarde works according to deadline. This means that transcriptionists can work whenever it suits their schedule, provided that the work is always submitted by the time it’s due. Work day or night, as long as the work is completed by deadline, we’re happy and our clients are equally satisfied. |

Consistency: |
MedGarde transcriptionists are assigned specific accounts, including primary and secondary accounts. This ensures steady workflow and predictable earnings for our transcriptionists. MedGarde uses cutting-edge Internet based transcription technology. Our system is Windows based and works with Microsoft Word. The platform provides an integrated word expander to help transcriptionists produce more work in less time. From the ground up, our technology is designed to keep our transcriptionists focused on transcribing rather than administrative tasks. This means our transcriptionists are not weighed down by having to save documents, name reports or upload/download files. |

Work Types: |
MedGarde is different from many transcription companies in that we have no "pool working". This means that dictation from clients doesn’t get filtered to a central repository where everyone is vying for the same work. Instead, work types are assigned to transcriptionists according to their skills and experience. This not only produces better quality work for our clients and their patients, but it also enables our transcriptionists to be more productive. |

Advancement: |
Since we work with a wide variety of medical institutions, we’re able to offer our transcriptionists exposure to numerous medical specialties. Additionally, MedGarde provides proofreading/editing opportunities to our most accomplished transcriptionists. |

Compensation: |
MedGarde offers a competitive incentive based pay structure. Pay is production based, not hourly or salary. The more you type the more you earn. Transcription is paid by the line, including any lines produced with word expanders. Line counts are presented to the transcriptionist at the completion of each report. Likewise, line counts are completely transparent for auditing purposes. The pay cycle is weekly via direct deposit. |
